step 3. Share files and folders
The files/folders in your 4shared account, which meet the
4shared Terms of Use, can be shared with all verified 4shared users using the securely generated file download links.
Get a file/folder download link in the “Share” menu by clicking the “Share” icon on/right to the file/folder.
Available sharing options at 4shared include: sharing a file/ folder via e-mail and Facebook, HTML and Forum file/folder links for posting at blogs or forums and file/folder embed codes.
4shared Folder Sharing features also imply a possibility to assign a public/private status to a specific folder, set up "View/Upload & Edit" access permissions to particular users and protect it with a password.
Tip! You can map your shared folder with a short and easy-to-remember link, like "myFiles.4shared.com", using a Set Subdomain option in the "Share" menu.
